I don't have to talk to Cristiano – Santos letting Ronaldo enjoy a holiday

Cristiano Ronaldo needs a break before the World Cup, Portugal coach Fernando Santos said.

Portugal mentor Fernando Santos demanded he had no compelling reason to call Cristiano Ronaldo, rather electing to give his star a chance to appreciate a merited break before the World Cup.
After a long battle with Real Madrid that incorporated a third straight Champions League title, Ronaldo is on vacation in front of Russia 2018.
Santos said he had no plans to reach the 33-year-old genius, trusting the forward returns in great condition.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is on vacation," he said. "I won't trouble Cristiano by calling him, after a spell where he's invested so much exertion and is worn out. I don't need to converse with Cristiano.
"Ideally he can have an awesome occasion and he can return great condition. That is the vital thing."
Portugal confronts Belgium and Algeria in friendlies before their World Cup opener against Spain June 15.
Santos' men will likewise meet Morocco and Iran in Group B.
